SUZANNE BRAIDY (SUZ)
Structural Relief Artist
Lebanese-born artist Suzanne Braidy (SUZ) is a Golden Visa holder based in Dubai, where she has established a long-standing presence within the region’s professional and cultural landscape.
A graduate of the Université Saint-Joseph de Beyrouth, Suz brings a disciplined, intellectual foundation to a practice spanning more than three decades.
Her work is characterized by a commitment to technical mastery and evocative storytelling. Her signature series, The Human Map, examines the topography of the diaspora experience through a specialized technique of High-Density Structural Relief.
Rather than relying on traditional brushwork, she meticulously builds each canvas through hand-applied layers, transforming the surface into a tactile, three-dimensional landscape.
Suz's compositions are marked by architectural depth and rhythmic precision, translating complex human emotions—such as resilience, belonging, and stillness—into physical form.
Whether through large-scale narrative works or intricate, pointillist-inspired abstractions, her art invites viewers to look beyond the surface and engage with the structural beauty that binds our shared experiences together.
