ABOUT THE ARTIST​

 

Lebanese-born artist Suzanne Braidy (SUZ) is a Golden Visa holder based in Dubai, where she has established a long-standing presence within the region’s professional and cultural landscape.

A graduate of the Université Saint-Joseph de Beyrouth, Suz brings a disciplined, intellectual foundation to a practice spanning over decades.

THE TECHNIQUE​

Her work is characterized by a commitment to technical precision and evocative storytelling. In her signature series, The Human Map, she examines the topography of the diaspora experience through a specialized process of chromatic layering and structural knife work.

Rather than relying on traditional flat brushwork, she meticulously builds each canvas through hand-applied applications, transforming the surface into a tactile landscape of light and shadow.
